the Waiting Game
Are you playing the 'waiting game'? Waiting for something external from yourself to shift, to change? Waiting for another moment when everything will be ready, or okay? Are you waiting for someone else to change/to do things for you? Waiting for everything to line up?
Waiting can take us out of the present moment. When you stop waiting you are left with the truth, the reality of how life is here now. Waiting could be denial of what is here now. if you spend your life waiting for something 'else' to shift, waiting for someone else to change, waiting for the conditions to be just right, waiting for another moment you are avoiding the opportunity presented in this moment.
Playing the waiting game could be a sign that there is no acceptance of what is here and now. The key is to ask yourself what is it about here and now that you don't like? That isn't working? That isn't content? That causes discontent?
As you allow yourself to stop waiting and to allow all the energy engaged in that and allow yourself to be fully present your left with the truth of what is and everything drops, everything ceases and therein lies, therein lies the way and you can only make a decision, a choice of how something is here and now, not a waiting game of how something might be in a future moment.
The choice can only be made in the moment if you're fully present in the moment.
